Police later found the vehicle crashed into a nearby business and the driver fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Just after midnight March 1, officers responded to reports of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision near the 900 block of South 348th Street, said Cmdr. Kurt Schwan of Federal Way Police.<\/p>\n<p>Officers found an unresponsive man with significant injuries from having been struck by a vehicle, Schwan said.<\/p>\n<p>First responders attempted life-saving efforts, but the man died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle involved in the collision was found crashed into a nearby business, Schwan said. The car was abandoned and the driver has not been located.<\/p>\n<p>Members of Federal Way&rsquo;s Major Accident Investigation Team are investigating.
