Drop off your hazardous waste when the King County Wastemobile comes to Kent.<\/p>\n
The Wastemobile will be at Puget Sound Fire Station 75, 15635 SE 272nd St., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, March 4-6.<\/p>\n
The Wastemobile travels to communities throughout King County to provide hazardous waste disposal for residents and eligible businesses. There is no fee for hazardous waste disposal. <\/p>\n
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Wastemobile organizers have taken a number of precautions to ensure the health of customers and staff.<\/p>\n
Customers are asked to place their hazardous waste in their vehicle’s trunk, truck bed or trailer. Customers should remain in their vehicles at all times and follow directions by Wastemobile staff. All Wastemobile customers are asked to wear a face mask.<\/p>\n
There is limit of 50 gallons per residential customer per day. No containers larger than 5 gallons are allowed. <\/p>\n
Please note that marine flares are not accepted at the Wastemobile and gas canisters are not returned to customers. <\/p>\n
Do bring <\/strong><\/p>\n Aerosol cans, if full or partially full<\/p>\n Automobile batteries (limit 5 batteries per customer)<\/p>\n Batteries (alkaline, rechargeable, etc.)<\/p>\n Butane tanks (the maximum size accepted is 5 gallons)<\/p>\n Fire extinguishers<\/p>\n Flares, roadside<\/p>\n Fluorescent lights (limit 10 bulbs per vehicle)<\/p>\n Furniture stain<\/p>\n Gasoline, motor oil, and antifreeze have a 25 gallon limit per trip.
