For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Firefly Fisher of the Harlem Globetrotters visits East Hill Elementary School at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Firefly will speak to the school about the “ABCs of Bullying Prevention,” part of the Globetrotters’ 2014 “Fans Rule” World Tour.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The bullying prevention program was designed in coordination with the National Campaign to Stop Violence (NCSV).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n “Respectful school communities are a top priority for East Hill Elementary and for our entire District so that every student has an opportunity for a healthy, successful future,” said East Hill Principal Daxa Thomas. “Firefly’s visit will be an engaging way for our students to learn how to help each other.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Firefly will discuss the tools kids can use to help reduce bullying while incorporating the team’s signature ball handling skills and humor.
