{"id":54362,"date":"2022-01-17T11:43:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-17T19:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/14-year-old-boy-shot-injured-in-des-moines\/"},"modified":"2022-01-17T11:43:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T19:43:00","slug":"14-year-old-boy-shot-injured-in-des-moines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/14-year-old-boy-shot-injured-in-des-moines\/","title":{"rendered":"14-year-old boy shot, injured in Des Moines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 14-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach Sunday morning, Jan. 16<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/y7pAoYekW86RYs7e9\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/84G7eYx3TWjmAasm6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">in the 22800 block of 30th Avenue South in Des Moines<\/a>, east of Pacific Highway South and west of Interstate 5.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched to multiple reports of shots fired at about 7:18 a.m., according to Des Moines Police. Officers found a boy with a gunshot wound. Officers began life-saving aid and paramedics transported the boy to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he underwent surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Des Moines Police did not release any other details about the shooting or a suspect.
