The latest of the sinfully funny Late Nite Catechism series comes to Kent’s Spotlight Series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 30 at the Kentwood Performing Arts Center, 25800 164th Ave. S.E., in Covington.

Part pageant, part one-woman show, part parochial school class, Sister’s Easter Catechism celebrates the Easter season and answers time-worn questions like “Who was Mary Magdalene?,” “Why isn’t Easter on the same day every year like Christmas?,” and “Will My Bunny Go To Heaven?”

Sister unearths the origins of Easter bunnies, Easter eggs, Easter baskets, Easter bonnets and yummy Easter Peeps. The audience will get plenty of opportunities to participate in this seasonal treat as Sister runs her own version of the Easter Egg Hunt, with special rewards and candy giveaways, according to a city of Kent media release.
