The Tacoma Stars will open the 2021-2022 Major Arena Soccer League season against the San Diego Sockers at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.<\/p>\n
San Diego is one of the favorites to win the Western Division, according to Michael Lewis at <\/a>MASLsoccer.com<\/a>. Tacoma was 4-7 last year and finished in sixth place when it played every game on the road as the ShoWare Center was unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n Lewis reports that the Stars are rebuilding under coach Mike Jennings. Top returning players include forward Nick Perera, midfielder Mike Ramos, forward Vini Dantas and goalkeeper Danny Waltman.<\/p>\n
