We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Theresa Lynn Kean (Rerecich) at the age of 47. Theresa succumbed to complications following a recent leukemia diagnosis on October 18, 2021. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many in the Greater Puget Sound area.

Theresa was born on November 26, 1973 to Anton Gregory and Linda Ann Rerecich in Seattle. Theresa attended St. Philomena school and graduated in 1992 from Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines, WA.

Theresa married her beloved husband Edward Michael (“Mike”) Kean in 2009. Theresa and Mike have two wonderful sons Jacob (11) and Jack (9).

Theresa was an extraordinarily giving person who always put others above herself. She balanced a demanding career in accounting while raising her beautiful children.

Theresa loved spending time with her family and friends at Ocean Shores. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, camping, and music. She had a marvelously witty sense of humor and kept us all laughing for hours on end.

Theresa is predeceased by her father Anton and is survived by her husband Mike, sons Jacob and Jack, mother Linda, sister Ellen, and brothers Mark and John. A small, private memorial service will be held.
