{"id":526,"date":"2012-04-27T11:16:38","date_gmt":"2012-04-27T18:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kenthope-hosts-fundraising-event\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T21:30:33","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T04:30:33","slug":"kenthope-hosts-fundraising-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kenthope-hosts-fundraising-event\/","title":{"rendered":"KentHOPE hosts fundraising event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>New Beginnings Christian Fellowship hosted the Kent Ministerial Association and members of the Faith Community to discuss an Advisory Board for KentHOPE at a coffee hour on April 26.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>KentHOPE is expanding its presence in the community to build a strong coalition of churches who support a Day Center and to expand into an overnight Shelter in Kent. The coffee hour had representation from 30 different congregations.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Pastors say they are eager to help in the effort to help with the members of our Community facing Homelessness. A fundraising event was discussed for the Fall.
