A sampling of Kent Police incidents Sept. 16-27:<\/p>\n
Sept. 16<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Kidnapping<\/strong>: 1:12 a.m., officers responded to a domestic violence assault\/kidnapping where a 17-year-old girl was being assaulted and threatened by her 17-year-old boyfriend. The suspect’s car was spotted, and a felony stop was conducted. The suspect was arrested for investigation of kidnapping and fourth-degree assault domestic violence and booked into King County Juvenile Detention.<\/p>\n Sept. 17<\/strong><\/p>\n Robbery <\/strong>spree<\/strong>: 5:30 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at Hawthorn Suites, 6329 S. 212th St. The first victim was robbed at gunpoint and the suspect fled. As officers were en route, dispatch provided updates that a subject was getting assaulted at the nearby Shell gas station. When officers arrived, the suspect was in a victim vehicle in the drive-thru at Cowgirls Espresso. The suspect had attempted to rob a second victim at the air pumps. Then he tried to carjack the third victim at the espresso stand. The suspect was taken into custody on three counts of first-degree robbery.<\/p>\n Sept. 22<\/strong><\/p>\n Assault<\/strong>: 2:08 p.m., a male suspect entered the Alleluia Catholic Store at First and Gowe, then proceeded to assault the 70-year-old female employee by knocking her down then punching and kicking her in the head. He also was groping her during the assault, all of which lasted almost two minutes. He quickly ran out of the store in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n Sept. 26<\/strong><\/p>\n Apartment shooting<\/strong>: 5:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting at Alvista 240 Apartments, 24028 110th Pl. SE. Two victims were found inside an apartment in the K building. A victim told officers the suspect was known to him and frequents Phoenix Court Apartments. Both victims were in stable condition.<\/p>\n Store shooting<\/strong>: 8:41 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male shot in the chest at the Fred Meyer at 25250 Pacific Hwy. S. When officers arrived, all involved parties were gone. Based on witness statements, the male victim got into an argument with a female, accusing her of stealing his money. The victim then took the female’s purse and walked away. The victim was followed by the female and a male suspect. The female got her purse back from the victim, and the suspect then took out a gun and shot the victim one time in the chest. All involved parties then fled, possibly together in the same vehicle.<\/p>\n Sept. 27<\/strong><\/p>\n Hostages<\/strong>: 4:37 p.m., officers responded to a suicidal juvenile who was holding his mother and sister hostage with a gun. The apartment was surrounded, and deescalation was conducted.
