{"id":51756,"date":"2021-09-16T17:47:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T00:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-dies-in-covington-house-fire\/"},"modified":"2021-09-17T16:28:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T23:28:55","slug":"man-dies-in-covington-house-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-dies-in-covington-house-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 58, dies in Covington house fire | Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man died in a Covington house fire Thursday afternoon, Sept. 16 <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/suv2WeZG7AzHrMFp6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">in the 26200 block of 180th Avenue <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/suv2WeZG7AzHrMFp6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">Southeast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Puget Sound Fire tweeted at about 4:30 p.m. that firefighters were on location of a two-alarm fire at the house. Firefighters extinguished the fire and located one resident inside the house.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are sad to report that efforts to resuscitate him were not successful,&rdquo; according to Puget Sound Fire.<\/p>\n<p>The King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office identified the man on Sept. 17 as Sergey Dekhtyar, 58.
