{"id":5137,"date":"2013-04-02T15:28:30","date_gmt":"2013-04-02T22:28:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/seattle-mist-opens-womens-legends-football-league-season-in-kent-april-6\/"},"modified":"2016-10-24T00:50:33","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T07:50:33","slug":"seattle-mist-opens-womens-legends-football-league-season-in-kent-april-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/seattle-mist-opens-womens-legends-football-league-season-in-kent-april-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle Mist opens women&#8217;s Legends Football League season in Kent April 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>The Seattle Mist opens the <a title=\"LFL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lflus.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Legends Football League<\/a> season on Saturday, April 6 against the Green Bay Chill at the <a title=\"showare\" href=\"http:\/\/www.showarecenter.com\/\" target=\"_self\">ShoWare Center<\/a> in Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Shuree Hyatt, a former soccer player at Kentlake High School and the University of Washington, will take the field with the Mist in what used to be called the Lingerie Football League.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The 27-year-old Hyatt, a running back and defensive back, is expected to be one of the top rookies in the league, according to the LFL website. Hyatt was a four-year letter winner in soccer at Kentlake and was the co-Most Valuable Player at the Class 4A state level in 2002. She also lettered three years in basketball.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Kickoff is at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Tickets are $85, $55, $35, $25 and $15 and are available at <a title=\"tickets\" href=\"http:\/\/tickets.showarecenter.com\/eventperformances.asp?evt=85\" target=\"_self\">www.showarecenter.com<\/a> or at the ShoWare box office, 625 W. James St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Games feature seven-on-seven tackle on a 50-yard field. The offense includes a quarterback, two running backs, three receivers and a center.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Seattle quarterback Laura Creel will lead the offense along with receivers Jessica Hopkins and Riki Creger-Zier.
