{"id":51238,"date":"2021-08-12T16:01:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T23:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-men-shot-injured-in-kent-at-garrison-creek-park\/"},"modified":"2021-08-12T16:01:00","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T23:01:00","slug":"two-men-shot-injured-in-kent-at-garrison-creek-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-men-shot-injured-in-kent-at-garrison-creek-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Two men shot, injured in Kent at Garrison Creek Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men were shot and injured during what may have been an attempted robbery at about 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/fuQFDH6sB2uLkDNE8\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Garrison Creek Park, 9615 S. 218th <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/fuQFDH6sB2uLkDNE8\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">St.<\/a>, in Kent.<\/p>\n<p>A 47-year-old Des Moines man and a 44-year-old Kent man were shot and had non-life threatening injuries, according to a Thursday afternoon, Aug. 12 email from Assistant Police Chief Jarod Kasner. Paramedics transported both men to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Initial information is that it may have been an attempted robbery,&rdquo; Kasner said. &ldquo;There is limited suspect information.
