The Washington State Patrol is investigating a vehicle that was struck by gunfire while driving on I-5, temporarily blocking all lanes of northbound I-5 at 44th Avenue in Lynnwood as officers search for evidence in the road. The WSP expects the closure to be a short duration. Use alternate routes for now.<\/p>\n

I-5 Northbound – On I-5 northbound just north of Lake Samish Road, there is a disabled vehicle blocking the right lane. The State Patrol has arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n

SR 20<\/p>\n

SR 20 North Cascades Highway between milepost 170 and 177 (about 20 miles west of Winthrop between Silver Star and Early Winters) has been closed as of 10 a.m. Monday, July 12 to all traffic because of fire activity There is no estimated time for reopening of the road, and this closure is expected to remain in place through the weekend.
