Joe Root, spokesperson for Puget Sound Fire. The fire was about 1 mile south of West Meeker Street.<\/p>\n<p>The first arriving engine reported a fire on the bank of the river from an encampment, Root said. Kent Police were not requested because nobody was at the site.
