The extension from SeaTac to Federal Way is scheduled to open in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The nearly 4 acres, north of South 240th Street between Pacific Highway South and 30th Avenue South, is currently being used to store construction equipment and house mobile offices while the future Kent\/Des Moines light rail station is being built.<\/p>\n<p>Sound Transit is partnering with the city of Kent to create a vision for future development near the station, and wants to know what kinds of services and spaces would be most beneficial for the growing community.<\/p>\n<p>Agency officials said they had received great feedback so far, but those who haven&rsquo;t taken the survey yet <a href=\"https:\/\/prr.mysocialpinpoint.com\/kentdesmoinestod\/?utm_campaign=gm-kentdesmoinestod-20210525&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">can visit KentDesMoinesTOD.com<\/a> to learn more and weigh in. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
