Nearly $2,000 was raised and 670 pounds of food donated for Northwest Food Harvest, the YMCA, Kent Food Bank and Bicycles Rescue for Youth at the Keller Williams Mountains to Sound drive-thru event.<\/p>\n

Twenty-eight used bicycles were donated as part of the May 13 event at the Kent YMCA. Bicycle Rescue for Youth refurbishes bikes for use by low-income households with children.<\/p>\n

The Covington Store House received 64 pounds of food on behalf of Keller Williams Mountains to Sound Cares from Covington Highpointe Neighbors.<\/p>\n

Participants and vendors included Mas Pika, Chayen Coffee, Josh Hudson and Bicycle Rescue for Youth. The sponsors included Kent YMCA, Hudson’s Portrait Design, PNW Chief Warrant Officer Association U.S. Coast Guard, Tubro Construction, Signs By Rob, 98.9 The Bull Radio & Gus and the Kent Reporter.<\/p>\n
