The man fatally shot March 30 on Kent’s East Hill has been identified as Marcus Golden.<\/p>\n
Golden, 28, died from a gunshot wound to his chest, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.<\/p>\n
Kent Police are still looking for the man detectives believe shot Golden at about 1:47 a.m. in the 23800 block of 110th Avenue Southeast near the Mosaic Hills Apartments.<\/p>\n
Officers found Golden with a gunshot wound. He had a pulse and officers started CPR, but Golden died at the scene. Police were dispatched to a verbal domestic at the Mosaic Hills Apartments. Prior to patrol arrival, there were shots fired at the same location with one person shot, according to police. The suspect fled on foot from the complex.<\/p>\n
A K-9 unit tried tracking the suspect, but the man was not found, according to police. Witness information led officers to believe the victim and suspect knew each other.<\/p>\n
