{"id":49290,"date":"2021-03-30T12:19:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T19:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/fire-displaces-family-from-kent-east-hill-home\/"},"modified":"2021-03-30T12:19:00","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T19:19:00","slug":"fire-displaces-family-from-kent-east-hill-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/fire-displaces-family-from-kent-east-hill-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire displaces family from Kent East Hill home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A house fire that started in a dryer displaced four adults and three children on the East Hill in Kent.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters responded at about 2:14 a.m. Tuesday, March 30 to a fire <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ccxsFbL7C3oS1Qh67\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the 10800 block of Southeast 236th Street<\/a>, according to Puget Sound Fire. The occupants of the home called 911 after the fire woke them up.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival crews were met with a significant amount of fire from the second floor. It took about 40 minutes to extinguish the fire.<\/p>\n<p>There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
