{"id":49155,"date":"2021-03-15T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T21:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-arrested-for-vehicular-assault-by-state-patrol\/"},"modified":"2021-03-15T14:38:09","modified_gmt":"2021-03-15T21:38:09","slug":"kent-man-arrested-for-vehicular-assault-by-state-patrol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-arrested-for-vehicular-assault-by-state-patrol\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent man arrested for vehicular assault by State Patrol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Washington State Patrol arrested a 25-year-old Kent man for investigation of vehicular assault and DUI after he reportedly flipped a car near State Route 599 in Tukwila and injured his passenger, a 25-year-old Kent woman.<\/p>\n<p>The man was driving a 2010 BMW 550 at a high rate of speed southbound on South 133rd Street to southbound State Route 599 at about 3:13 a.m. on Sunday, March 14 when he struck the light rail barrier and the car came to a rest on its left side, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics transported a 25-year-old Kent woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The Kent driver was injured but not transported to a hospital. The driver was wearing a seatbelt but the passenger didn&rsquo;t have a seatbelt on.
