Juan de Dios Morales and Melissa Kozy have been selected as the Kent Rotary Students of the Week.<\/p>\n
Both are students at Kentlake High School.<\/p>\n
Morales, a senior, is the son of Pedro and Elvira Morales.<\/p>\n
Morales has 3.88 grade point average and takes classes at both Kentlake and Green River Community College through the Running Start Program. He has also spent nearly a year volunteering on weekends for the Seattle Food Bank. Morales also played soccer in both middle school and high school.<\/p>\n
After graduation, Morales plans to attend the University of Washington where he expects to major in computer science or engineering.<\/p>\n
Kozy, also a senior, is the daughter of Mary and David Kozy.<\/p>\n
At school, she is a member of the Honor Society and the Environmental Protection Club. Kozy is also in her third year as a member of the varsity volleyball team and ran track this past year as well.<\/p>\n
After graduation, Kozy plans to attend a four-year university to study biochemistry or neuroscience with the hopes of attending medical school.<\/p>\n
She is considering Stanford, the University of Utah and Brigham Young University (in either Utah or Hawaii).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
