{"id":48948,"date":"2021-02-24T17:19:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T01:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-found-dead-in-kent-apartment-by-firefighters\/"},"modified":"2021-02-24T17:19:00","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T01:19:00","slug":"man-found-dead-in-kent-apartment-by-firefighters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-found-dead-in-kent-apartment-by-firefighters\/","title":{"rendered":"Man found dead in Kent apartment by firefighters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was found dead in a Kent apartment after Puget Sound Fire responded to a fire at about 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/XvQJu7EpMbo6bovb7\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">25900 block of 25th Lane South<\/a> on the West Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Puget Sound Fire responded to an initial report of an odor in the building. Upon arrival, firefighters upgraded it to a structure fire response. Firefighters entered the apartment and found the smoldering fire had burned itself out, according to Puget Sound Fire.
