Attempted carjacking: 9:12 p.m., patrol responded to an attempted carjacking near 64th Avenue South and West Meeker Street. The victim was pepper-sprayed and beaten up. The suspects fled on foot after the failed attempt to get the vehicle. Patrol located the suspects at nearby apartments. The female involved admitted to setting the victim up and trying to steal the vehicle with her male counterpart. The 21-year-old victim was contacted and initially denied knowing the 14-year-old female suspect, but later admitted that he and the girl had relations several times in the past. The female and her male counterpart were arrested and taken to juvenile detention for the attempted carjacking.

Drive-by shootings: 8:19 a.m., another drive-by shooting occurred near 116th Avenue SE and SE 210th Place. Witnesses reported one shot being fired at the house, and the suspect fled in a red Audi sedan with tinted windows and chrome rims. The homeowner was contacted by phone and confirmed nobody is currently living at the house. This is the third drive-by shooting at the residence in the past 24 hours and seventh in the past 16 days. The suspect was arrested, and detectives are continuing to investigate.

Kidnapping, car theft: 2:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to Alvista 240 apartment complex, 24028 110th Place SE, for a report of an in-progress vehicle theft. As officers were responding they discovered that the vehicle was stolen with the victim’s three children still inside of it. The victim allowed the suspect to live at her apartment, but the suspect’s actions caused the victim to kick her out after a few days. The victim drove to the management office with her children and once she got out of the vehicle (with it still running), she witnessed the known suspect get into it and drive off with her children still inside. Officers located the vehicle with all children safe and accounted for. The suspect was detained and later booked to King County Juvenile Detention Center where she was charged for second-degree kidnapping, theft of a motor vehicle and fourth-degree assault.
