{"id":48583,"date":"2021-01-20T17:26:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T01:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/showare-center-in-kent-could-be-covid-19-vaccination-site\/"},"modified":"2021-01-20T17:31:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T01:31:10","slug":"showare-center-in-kent-could-be-covid-19-vaccination-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/showare-center-in-kent-could-be-covid-19-vaccination-site\/","title":{"rendered":"ShoWare Center in Kent could be COVID-19 vaccination site"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent city leaders and King County staff are in active discussions about using the city-owned accesso ShoWare Center as a COVID-19 vaccination site.<\/p>\n<p>Final details are still being negotiated and a contract hasn&rsquo;t been signed by both parties yet, but it is anticipated it will be completed in the coming days, according to a city statement on Wednesday, Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>The initial goal of the site will be to provide 500 vaccinations daily, six days per week by appointment only. The arena, 625 W. James St., has been closed to events since March due to COVID-19.
