{"id":48188,"date":"2020-12-16T11:02:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T19:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/king-county-sheriffs-office-investigates-suspicious-death-near-covington\/"},"modified":"2020-12-16T11:02:00","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T19:02:00","slug":"king-county-sheriffs-office-investigates-suspicious-death-near-covington","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/king-county-sheriffs-office-investigates-suspicious-death-near-covington\/","title":{"rendered":"King County Sheriff&#8217;s Office investigates suspicious death near Covington"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Detectives with the King County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating a suspicious death after deputies found a body <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/i3Lyjpw3vjPRQDRb8\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the Southeast 25600 block of State Route 18<\/a> near Covington.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Sheriff&rsquo;s Office observed suspicious activity at about 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 as they passed the unincorporated area of southeast King County, according to a Dec. 16 Sheriff&rsquo;s Office news release.<\/p>\n<p>They promptly returned to investigate the area where they located a deceased person.
