{"id":4817,"date":"2015-08-07T14:22:19","date_gmt":"2015-08-07T21:22:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/levee-work-to-temporarily-close-green-river-trail-aug-10-13\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T20:15:36","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T03:15:36","slug":"levee-work-to-temporarily-close-green-river-trail-aug-10-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/levee-work-to-temporarily-close-green-river-trail-aug-10-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Levee work to temporarily close Green River Trail Aug. 10-13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Maintenance work by King County continues along a dozen miles of levees that protect the cities of Renton, Tukwila and Kent from Green River flooding and will require temporary, intermittent closures of sections of the Green River Trail, which sits atop the levee system through the Green River Valley.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Upcoming closures:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u2022 Aug. 10-13, with a possible extension to Aug. 14: The Green River Trail in Kent will be closed from South 262nd <a title=\"map\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Alder+Ln,+Kent,+WA+98030\/@47.367326,-122.2287126,15z\/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x549059460c314cfd:0x963fe8c5d599f704\" target=\"_self\">(Alder Lane)<\/a> to the Green River Road trail head.
