Santa Claus is scheduled to return this year to the Kent Station shopping center but there will be a few changes due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Santa photos will be by appointment only and be taken in the former Coldwater Creek space. The front of the Santa house will be set up and decorated. There will be plexiglass in the doorway and Santa will see children from the other side of the plexiglass, so he won’t be wearing a face mask because he will be completely separated from the children but still able to talk with them and pose for photos taken by a professional photographer.

Families are required to wear face masks, although they can be removed briefly for the photo. All of the protocol details are listed on the Kent Station website.

Santa will be in town Nov. 28 through Dec. 23. If there are any changes due to the pandemic, Kent Station will update details on its website at kentstation.com.

Photo packages range from $20 to $50 for up to six people in the photo. Groups larger than six people need to reserve a second time slot with a minimum price of $60.
