A 39-year-old Kent man was killed after getting hit by two vehicles as he was trying to walk or run across Interstate 5 in Seattle just north of I-90.<\/p>\n

Khanh Huynh died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. The collision occurred at about 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, according to the Washington State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Huynh was crossing in a restricted area to pedestrians on the southbound mainline from west to east when a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Seattle man struck him in lane one. Huynh came to rest in lane two where he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Kent woman. Both drivers pulled over to the right side. The drivers were not injured. Huynh died at the scene.<\/p>\n

There are no charges pending, according to the State Patrol.<\/p>\n

Although people have organized protests on the freeway in recent months, there was not any protests on the freeway Saturday night, said Trooper Rick Johnson, a State Patrol spokesperson, in an email.<\/p>\n
