{"id":47260,"date":"2020-09-14T11:13:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-14T18:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/air-quality-hits-hazardous-level-in-kent\/"},"modified":"2020-09-14T11:14:31","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T18:14:31","slug":"air-quality-hits-hazardous-level-in-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/air-quality-hits-hazardous-level-in-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Air quality hits hazardous level in Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The city of Kent has a hazardous air quality rating of 321 on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Air quality remains bad throughout the state.<\/p>\n<p>Sad to say, the clearing that should have been here by now is not only tardy but is poofing out as a lackluster weather feature that won&rsquo;t do much for us, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/wasmoke.blogspot.com\/2020\/09\/atmosphere-is-not-delivering-what-we.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/wasmoke.blogspot.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &ldquo;cleanest&rdquo; air in the state right now is Unhealthy air, whereas the model&rsquo;s advertised menu said we should have been seeing substantial improvements along the coast Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the weather forecast, not much is going to change the status quo a whole lot. <a href=\"https:\/\/enviwa.ecology.wa.gov\/home\/text\/421#Forecast\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">See the forecast map for expected conditions in your area.<\/a> To add to our woes, light southerly winds will continue for another day at least, dragging more smoke directly from Oregon fires northward along the I-5 corridor.
