{"id":47075,"date":"2020-09-01T11:50:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T18:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-familes-displaced-by-kent-residential-fire\/"},"modified":"2020-09-01T11:58:34","modified_gmt":"2020-09-01T18:58:34","slug":"two-familes-displaced-by-kent-residential-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/two-familes-displaced-by-kent-residential-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Two familes displaced by Kent residential fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two families were displaced after a residential fire on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 29 <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/ivs2zEXCh972Y7G78\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">near the 15200 block of Southeast 272nd Street<\/a> in Kent.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple 911 calls reported a large black column of smoke, according to Puget Sound Fire. Firefighters arrived within four minutes and found the structure 50% involved in fire with all occupants out. There were no injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Crews commenced an aggressive offensive attack and limited the fire to the structure of origin with some damage to the unit next door due to the radiant heat.
