The eighth annual Fill the Bus school supply drive by Communities in Schools is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Kent Station shopping center and several other locations.<\/p>\n

Drop off donations at:<\/p>\n

• Johnny Rockets at Kent Station, 438 Ramsay Way<\/p>\n

• Curran Law Firm, 555 W. Meeker St.<\/p>\n

• Kent Chamber of Commerce, 523 W. Meeker St.<\/p>\n

• Kent School District Administration offices, 12033 SE 256th St.<\/p>\n

• Communities in Schools, 202 W. Gowe St.<\/p>\n

Items needed include backpacks, Expo markers, ear buds, thumb drives, composition notebooks, college ruled paper, Sharpies, writing utensils, glue sticks, face masks, 2-pocket folders, hand sanitizers and 3-ring binders<\/p>\n

No supplies will be handed out on Aug. 20. Families can go to the Kent School District website and fill out a request form of their needs. Details for delivering or pick ups for students and families will be determined once requests received.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
