{"id":46269,"date":"2020-06-22T13:01:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T20:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/seatac-man-dies-in-kent-motorcycle-crash-near-lake-meridian\/"},"modified":"2020-06-22T13:01:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-22T20:01:00","slug":"seatac-man-dies-in-kent-motorcycle-crash-near-lake-meridian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/seatac-man-dies-in-kent-motorcycle-crash-near-lake-meridian\/","title":{"rendered":"SeaTac man dies in Kent motorcycle crash near Lake Meridian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 36-year-old SeaTac man was killed about 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 21, when his motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a tree <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/eTtyBQNSUrv3Jccc6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the 25900 block of 144th Avenue Southeast<\/a> in Kent, just north of Lake Meridian.<\/p>\n<p>The man was northbound on 144th Avenue Southeast when he lost control, said Kent Police Assistant Chief Jarod Kasner in an email. Preliminary information indicates speed may have been a factor. Kasner said traffic investigators were still processing evidence recovered at the scene to determine an estimated speed.
