{"id":46223,"date":"2020-06-17T14:24:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-17T21:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/sea-mar-kent-medical-clinic-to-offer-free-covid-19-testing\/"},"modified":"2020-06-17T14:24:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-17T21:24:00","slug":"sea-mar-kent-medical-clinic-to-offer-free-covid-19-testing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/sea-mar-kent-medical-clinic-to-offer-free-covid-19-testing\/","title":{"rendered":"Sea Mar Kent Medical Clinic to offer free COVID-19 testing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seamar.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sea Mar Community Health Centers<\/a> will offer free scheduled drive-thru and walk-up appointments for COVID-19 testing every Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting Monday, June 22, at its Kent Medical Clinic, <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/B6Wu4qnnwosJCvvw7\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">233 Second Ave. <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/B6Wu4qnnwosJCvvw7\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">S<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Those looking to get a test must first call the clinic at 206-436-6380. Appointments for COVID-19 testing will be scheduled after an evaluation is done with a Sea Mar provider over the phone. Testing is free for all family members. Health insurance is not required. You do not need to be a Sea Mar patient to receive a test &#8211; all are welcome, according to a Sea Mar news release.<\/p>\n<p>The testing site will be in the parking lot. People who schedule a drive-thru appointment will remain in their cars for their test. People who schedule a walk-up appointment will receive their test outside under a tent. All tests will be administered by Sea Mar staff.
