{"id":46048,"date":"2020-05-29T14:56:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T21:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-injured-in-high-speed-crash\/"},"modified":"2020-05-29T15:03:12","modified_gmt":"2020-05-29T22:03:12","slug":"kent-man-injured-in-high-speed-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-injured-in-high-speed-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent man injured in high-speed crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 30-year-old Kent man suffered injuries in a single-car crash Thursday, May 28, <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/fxjW1KvuyPvL4Q8A6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the 5200 block of South 212th <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/fxjW1KvuyPvL4Q8A6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched at about 7:20 p.m. to the crash and found a single occupant in the vehicle with life-threatening injuries, according to a Friday email from Kent Police Assistant Chief Jarod Kasner. First responders stabilized the man and paramedics transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Initial information suggests that speed appears to be a major factor in this one car accident,&rdquo; said Kasner, who didn&rsquo;t release an estimated speed of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Units from Puget Sound Fire, Tukwila Fire, South King County Medic One and Kent Police responded to the crash.
