Members of the Kent Stake and Maple Valley Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are asking residents to join them in a donation drive supporting the Kent Food Bank.<\/p>\n

Due to current economic conditions, the Food Bank is assisting more than double the usual number of families each week. Each year, the Food Bank relies in part on a couple of large food drives that will not be held due to the virus. Church members are organizing this drive to help fill the gap, according to a press release from Patrick Hanis, one of the organizers.<\/p>\n

The collections are from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 30 and Saturday, June 27.<\/p>\n

Donations can be delivered to the following drop-off locations at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints –parking lots:<\/p>\n

* Kent Building<\/p>\n

4419 94th Ave. S.<\/p>\n

* Kent Stake Center<\/p>\n

12817 SE 256th St.<\/p>\n

* Kentwood Building<\/p>\n

26106 164th Ave. SE, Covington<\/p>\n

* Maple Valley Stake Center ( Four Corners)<\/p>\n
