A 33-year-old Tacoma woman was killed when she drove the wrong way on State Route 167 in Auburn and collided head on with another vehicle.<\/p>\n
Nicole Kord died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.<\/p>\n
Kord was traveling southbound in the northbound HOV lane at about 1:13 a.m. Friday on Highway 167<\/a> near 37th Street <\/a>Northwest<\/a>, according to the Washington State Patrol. Kord died at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n Paramedics transported the driver of the second vehicle, a 62-year-old Renton man, to Valley Medical Center in Renton.
