{"id":45075,"date":"2020-03-19T10:36:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-19T17:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-shot-injured-in-kents-north-park-neighborhood\/"},"modified":"2020-03-19T10:44:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-19T17:44:02","slug":"man-shot-injured-in-kents-north-park-neighborhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/man-shot-injured-in-kents-north-park-neighborhood\/","title":{"rendered":"Man shot, injured in Kent&#8217;s North Park neighborhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head at about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday in the North Park neighborhood near <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/HfpBFgA3WTVRqbeSA\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Second Avenue North and West Cloudy Street<\/a>, just east of the accesso ShoWare Center.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his head, according to a Kent Police news release. Police did not release the age of the man. Paramedics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives talked with a possible witness and canvassed the neighborhood looking for any additional witnesses and\/or surveillance video. Detectives are still trying to determine what led up to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses can call the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808 or call 911.
