The Seattle Thunderbirds junior hockey team has closed its offices and team store at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent and released its players to return home.<\/p>\n

The office and store will be closed indefinitely in response to COVID-19 virus distancing efforts, according to the T-birds on Tuesday. The team released all players to return home to their families while the Western Hockey League season remains suspended.<\/p>\n

T-Birds office staff will be working remotely and can answers fans questions or concerns via email. A listing of staff emails can be found on the staff page of the T-Birds website<\/a>, scroll to the bottom of the staff page for emails. Staff members will respond as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n

The T-Birds’ online team store will continue to operate at store.seattlethunderbirds.com. Outgoing shipments may be delayed.<\/p>\n

The T-Birds, in conjunction with the Canadian Hockey League and Western Hockey League, continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide further updates when available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
