The Tooth Fairy visited kids at Kent and Pine Tree elementary schools on Friday, bringing a simple message.

Take care of your smile.

On National Tooth Fairy Day, the Tooth Fairy Experience is a new program to make dental health education interactive and fun for children ages 10 and under. It coincides with National Children’s Dental Health Month.

The Tooth Fairy’s visit – part of The Tooth Fairy Experience presented by Delta Dental of Washington – featured a story time reading, a presentation on fun smile facts, demonstrations, a toothbrush giveawa, and dental activities. Each child walked away with a toothbrush and a better understanding of the importance of a healthy smile. As an interactive and fun program, the Tooth Fairy Experience shared valuable knowledge with children about how they can better take care of their teeth.

The Tooth Fairy continues to visit community centers, boys and girls clubs, schools, libraries and other public places kids gather statewide. The program also features free downloadable educational materials for classroom use. People can follow the Tooth Fairy on her Facebook and Instagram social media channels at @ToothFairyWA.
