{"id":44478,"date":"2020-02-19T11:18:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T19:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/seattle-man-dies-in-kent-car-crash-along-orillia-road\/"},"modified":"2020-02-20T16:18:26","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T00:18:26","slug":"seattle-man-dies-in-kent-car-crash-along-orillia-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/seattle-man-dies-in-kent-car-crash-along-orillia-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Seattle man dies in Kent car crash along Orillia Road | Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 74-year-old Seattle man was killed when his car collided with a semi-truck at about 7 a.m. Wednesday in Kent along <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/XjdFPwox4JDBLvoj8\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Orillia Road near South 212th Place<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Narendra Shah died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Initial information indicates that the driver of the car, who was traveling east on Orillia Road, slid into the oncoming lanes of travel and was struck by a semi-truck,&rdquo; according to a Kent Police Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p>Shah was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the lone occupant of the car.
