{"id":43192,"date":"2019-11-18T13:30:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T21:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kenthope-gala-raises-190000-to-fight-homelessness-addiction\/"},"modified":"2019-11-18T15:47:10","modified_gmt":"2019-11-18T23:47:10","slug":"kenthope-gala-raises-190000-to-fight-homelessness-addiction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kenthope-gala-raises-190000-to-fight-homelessness-addiction\/","title":{"rendered":"KentHOPE Gala raises $190,000 to fight homelessness, addiction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The seventh annual KentHOPE for Tomorrow Gala raised $190,000 to help the nonprofit&rsquo;s efforts to end the cycle of homelessness and addiction for local women and their families.<\/p>\n<p>The Nov. 2 dinner, dessert, celebrity dance and auction drew 360 people to the Renton Pavilion.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds generously support the daily operations of the KentHOPE Women and Children&rsquo;s Day Center.<\/p>\n<p>KentHOPE guest Sandra Kincade shared her story about regaining her self-esteem and her ability to give back to others in the three months she had been at the day center.
