{"id":43172,"date":"2019-11-15T13:53:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-15T21:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/meridian-glen-park-in-kent-to-get-30000-upgrade\/"},"modified":"2019-11-15T13:53:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-15T21:53:00","slug":"meridian-glen-park-in-kent-to-get-30000-upgrade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/meridian-glen-park-in-kent-to-get-30000-upgrade\/","title":{"rendered":"Meridian Glen Park in Kent to get $30,000 upgrade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A $30,000 grant will bring several improvements to the city of Kent&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/VY2N9DHhab6nB7e2A\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Meridian Glen Park, 27535 137th Ave. <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/VY2N9DHhab6nB7e2A\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>New playground equipment, fresh surface for the basketball court, installation of lower basketball hoops and a new youth bike course are planned for the park.<\/p>\n<p>Kent received the grant from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrpa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Recreation and Park Association<\/a> and The Walt Disney Co., according to a news release from the National Recreation and Park Association.
