Big Lots will celebrate the grand opening of 12 newly remodeled stores throughout the Seattle area on Saturday, Nov. 9, including its Kent location, 1301 W. Meeker St.<\/p>\n

These stores will reflect a new format, which is part of a broader initiative to reposition the brand as a community retailer offering trustworthy value and friendly service, according to a company news release. As part of the celebration, Ohio-based Big Lots will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 12 stores at 8:45 a.m. Plus, the first 50 shoppers entering each store on Nov. 9-10 will receive a reusable shopping bag filled with tasty treats from Big Lots.<\/p>\n
