The Kent School District presents Beyond High School, a career readiness and college preparedness resource event, on Wednesday, Oct. 30.<\/p>\n
The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kent-Meridian High School, 10020 SE 256th St.<\/p>\n
Representatives from two- and four-year in-state and out-of-state colleges, technical schools, military, apprenticeship programs and local employers will be available to meet with attendees.<\/p>\n
More than 60 college and universities and more than 20 community partners will be presents.<\/p>\n
Breakout sessions begin at 7 p.m. and will include: FAFSA\/WASFA college financial assistance; University of Washington and Green River College presentations; and apprenticeship programs.<\/p>\n
