{"id":41705,"date":"2019-08-02T11:12:00","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T18:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-allegedly-assaults-woman-inside-his-east-hill-home\/"},"modified":"2019-08-02T11:20:11","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T18:20:11","slug":"kent-man-allegedly-assaults-woman-inside-his-east-hill-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-allegedly-assaults-woman-inside-his-east-hill-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent man allegedly assaults woman inside his East Hill home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent Police arrested a 30-year-old man for investigation of assault after he allegedly attacked a 60-year-old woman Thursday afternoon <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/bz9FnSiqF9tC1tdw5\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">in the 13200 block of Southeast 261st Street<\/a> on the East Hill near Lake Meridian.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded at about 12:45 p.m. to a report of a man walking down the street with blood on his hands and sounds of a woman who had been heard screaming in the house where the man had come from, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police were on the scene within moments and took the man into custody.<\/p>\n<p>When officers entered the man&rsquo;s home, they discovered a woman seriously injured, according to police. She was breathing, but unresponsive. Officers, firefighters and paramedics stabilized the woman and transported her to a nearby hospital, according to police.
