{"id":41702,"date":"2019-08-02T10:46:00","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T17:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/officers-catch-woman-who-reportedly-stole-kent-police-suv\/"},"modified":"2019-08-02T10:56:40","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T17:56:40","slug":"officers-catch-woman-who-reportedly-stole-kent-police-suv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/officers-catch-woman-who-reportedly-stole-kent-police-suv\/","title":{"rendered":"Officers catch woman who reportedly stole Kent Police SUV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 38-year-old woman reportedly stole a Kent Police SUV near Kentridge High School and sped away before she was taken into custody near Highway 18 and Interstate 90.<\/p>\n<p>Officers at about 2:30 a.m. Friday were contacting a man with an arrest warrant <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/nwjVrNQcvJUmap6p6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\">in the 12400 block of Southeast 208th Street<\/a> behind Kentridge, according to Kent Police. A woman was with the man and both fled on foot.<\/p>\n<p>While officers were taking the man into custody, the woman jumped into a police SUV and sped away.<\/p>\n<p>Police activated the automated vehicle locator that showed the patrol vehicle heading east on I-90. Officers relayed the stolen patrol car information to surrounding agencies.
