Reporter staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kent Little League officially threw out the first pitch to the baseball season Saturday at Ryan Brunner Park.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Greg Whitcomb, Kent Little League president, welcomed parents, players and coaches in an opening day program that included a parade and introduction of teams onto the outfield, a flag ceremony, Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke’s keynote address and Travis Brunner’s ceremonial first pitch.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The carnival atmosphere welcomed face painting, booths, game trailer and bouncy house, team photos and sponsor\/vendor booths from local partners and sponsors.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Games followed throughout the afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
