Tyler Cowan’s sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning scored the eventual game-winning run as Kentwood defeated Kentlake 5-4 in a North Puget Sound League Cascade Division game at Hogan Park at Russell Road Park on Monday.<\/p>\n

The Conquerors moved to 7-3 in league, 8-7 overall. The Falcons remain in first place at 8-2, 11-5 overall. Kentlake won the first game of the home-and-home series 6-2 last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Cowan’s sac fly brought home Nate Franceschina, who led off the inning with a double.<\/p>\n

Ty Collins, Jackson Proctor and Raheem Rivera each had an RBI for Kentwood.<\/p>\n

James Spickelmier, in relief of starter Nick Musga, three five shutout innings, striking out 11 and walking six, to earn the win. Spickelmier, Musga and Wyatt Hansen combined on a five-hitter.<\/p>\n

Reliver Anthony Elston took the loss.<\/p>\n

Drew Biggerstaff drove in two runs for Kentlake.<\/p>\n

Kentridge 9, at Hazen <\/strong>2:<\/strong> Trent Jackson homered and Cameron Denny had three doubles and drove in two runs as the Chargers (7-3, 11-3) beat the Highlanders(2-8, 5-10) in an NPSL Cascade game Monday.<\/p>\n

Kentridge is on a seven-game winning streak.<\/p>\n
