Nick Musga scattered five hits in 6⅔ shutout innings to lead Kentwood to a 5-0 victory over Kennedy Catholic in a North Puget Sound League Cascade Division game at Hogan Park at Russell Road on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Conquerors improved to 6-2 in league, a game behind the leader, Kentlake, and 7-6 overall. The Lancers are 5-3 and 10-3.<\/p>\n
Wyatt Hansen got the final out and the save. He also went 2-for-3, with a triple and run scored.<\/p>\n
Alex Tan doubled and drove in a run. James Spickelmier, who tripled, and Nate Franceschina each had an RBI.<\/p>\n
At Burien, Kentwood erupted for six runs in the seventh inning to overcome Kennedy Catholic 12-10 on April 4.<\/p>\n
Tied at 10-10, Musga singled on a 0-2 count to drive in two runs for Kentwood.<\/p>\n
Jackson Proctor doubled and drove in three runs for Kentwood. Raheem Rivera went 3-for-5, with two RBI and scored two runs. Ryan Stansell also went 3-for-5, with an RBI.<\/p>\n
Jacob Yang collected four hits in five at-bats, including a double, and scored three runs for the Conks.<\/p>\n
