The Chargers improved to 2-3 in the division, 6-3 overall. The Conquerors dropped to 4-1 and 5-5.<\/p>\n
Both pitching staff were solid in this one, scattering four hits apiece.<\/p>\n
Ian Mcintosh, the starter for Kentridge, allowed one hit while striking out six in 3⅓ innings. Jaques Travers pitched three innings of relief and picked up the win. Nathan Anderson shut the door in the seventh to get the save.<\/p>\n
Nick Musga started for Kentwood. He went 5⅔ innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out four.<\/p>\n
Jackson Proctor went 2 for 3 at the plate to lead the Conks.<\/p>\n
