A community tradition, the 32nd annual Kent Kids’ Arts Day returned to the Kent Commons last Saturday.

The festival celebrates National Youth Arts Month by bringing kids, creativity and diversity together. The event featured hands-on art projects led by professional artists, music and dance performances from local school groups and community dance studios, face painting and larger than life magnetic poetry on the Wall of Words.

Kids’ Day is presented by the Kent Arts Commission and the Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department, with partial funding from 4Culture, Washington State Arts Commission, Kent Lions Club, Fred Meyer, The YMCA of Greater Seattle and Kent Community Foundation.
